Bronwyn McIvor

Bronwyn McIvor is a Richmond-based painter working in oils, acrylics,
and watercolour. Studying classical painting as a youth, she then
attended Langara’s Fine Arts program before completing her BFA at
Emily Carr.

In her canvases Bronwyn is inspired by the richness and
drama of Caravaggio, using sumptuous colours and brush strokes to depict her

unusual still lives.

Painting during her travels has also led Bronwyn to explore how watercolour can capture fleeting impressions of colour, motion, and feeling.
